Web Hosting Issues
It seems that my posting issues may originate with Yahoo, my web hosting service. Not only am I unable to access my web hosting or email control panels, but all my emails dated earlier than 11/14 and all my folders were deleted from my account. Yahoo sent me an email earlier this week notifying me that the issue was resolved, however, this is not the case. They also got my name wrong on the email to me, despite the fact that I spelled it out to the tech support reps AND my name is on the billing. If this is not resolved shortly I am going to switch web hosting services.

Blogger Beta - Beta Not Change Over
I just switched to Blogger Beta and I can't say I'm pleased. None of the touted template features seem to work. When I tried to republish my blog in different templates, it somehow managed to break my Yahoo web hosting. I spent an hour on the phone with Yahoo tech support this morning and I still can't log in to my FTP or access my web hosting services. Apparently I can't switch back to regular Blogger either.
Damn.
UPDATE
The above was written the morning of Nov. 14, but I was unable to publish it until today, Nov. 15. Don't believe the date listed on this posting - it's lying. Yahoo finally managed to fix my web hosting services access, but I still wasn't able to publish my blog using my normal ftp settings. Finally in desperation I tried using the alternate ftp host and that worked. Yay! However, Blogger Beta still doesn't give me any of the template features they are hyping, so I still recommend not switching to beta.
Damn.
