Tango
On Monday night Tango has 1/2 price bottles of wine. I took my sister there last night and we enjoyed an amazing Tempranillo. We also ordered too many delicious tapas.

48 Hours
My first two days of vacation have concluded. On Friday, I made a bunch of calls in the morning. I called the Aveda Institute to make an appointment for next week for a facial and a back treatment, all which includes massage. It's really cheap too because they're students. I then called the Honda shop and scheduled to bring the car in for an oil change and steam-clean detailing. Both the car and I are getting pampered. Jay and I set off to the massage bar at the convention center, but there was a line, one masseuse, and it was near closing. We headed over to Dragonfish for happy hour sushi. Three brothers sat down next to us celebrating one's 21st birthday, tried to chat us up, and we all watched the X-Games on TV. Then we hit up Sephora for a little shopping, and then I went to sushi at Hana with my friends. I ran into Matt and Ian there, they invited me to Matt's birthday party at the bowling alley Saturday night. I thought about going, but then decided not to as Matt's someone I met through Mike, so there would be an excellent chance of him being there. I wouldn't mind seeing Mike, but I haven't spoken to him since my neighbor's disastrous conversation and I don't know if Mike's pissed at me. I suppose I could've called him, but if Matt hadn't invited him to the party then it would be a very awkward situation.
I played around some more with Sequel, learned to use some of the effects, and made another song. I need to write lyrics, all my songs lack vocal tracks. I find myself listening very closely to songs I like now, their construction, how new elements are introduced and others removed, rhyme scheme, and my emotional response. As I write I'm listening to a playlist of songs that I like the sound layers and progressions. "Tribulations," LCD Soundsystem, "Pull/Pulk Revolving Doors" and "Sit Down/Stand Up, " by Radiohead, and Thom Yorke's album.
I leveled to 53 in WoW last night. I sent out text messages to Ryan and Erik to let them know. Ganked an ally today, a level 45 hunter. I waited until they attacked a mob, then went after the hunter while the pet was busy, an easy 4 honor points. I was playing when Erik called to see if I wanted to go to Tall's Camera, I was attacked while I was talking by a +5 mob, then as I ran I pulled three more of them. Erik had to listen to me squeal "oshitoshitoshitoshit" into my bluetooth headset until I died.
We went to Tall's after brunch at B & O and played around with some DSLR cameras. I just got a bonus and I've saved a lot of money while on the project because I had no free time to spend money. I've taken three good photos in my life - the rest just don't look quite right. I need a quality camera so I can use different lenses and filters. I'm tired of taking mediocre photos. I'm going to order one online but can't decide between the Nikon and the Canon. I'll probably order the Rebel XTI from Newegg.
Later Tyron, Erik, and I met up to see the midnight movie, Cannibal! The Musical. I laughed my ass off. I'd like to think I'm a fun person, and I like to organize excursions, whether it is Friday night sushi or a twisted flick. Hopefully everyone has a good time.
We had dinner beforehand at Bill's Off Broadway. Erik and Tyron were trying to conceive a name for their not yet quite a band because they only have one song. I threw out a name as a joke and they liked it, so now they're going to be Free Puppy. Or perhaps "we're" going to be Free Puppy, because they say they want me in the band. Not sure if i want to yet.

Now what?
Starting tomorrow I am taking some time off of work. The project has launched, the dust is settling, and now I am taking all of next week off. I'm not really sure what to do with myself. I think I'll read by the pool (too bad I've already finished the new Harry Potter), level my main in WoW, and ride my scooter. I'll probably construct some music with this new program I got called Sequel. It reminds me a lot of an old PS2 game I played called MTV Music Generator. I'm hoping to do some more writing, in both my blog and my journal.
I need to regain my tranquility. A co-worker commented the week after the product launched that I was the calmest looking person she'd seen on the project. I'm outwardly serene, but I'm very tense. My shoulders are tightly wound, I'm losing weight, and haven't had a good night's sleep in three months.
